Planning ahead for our retirement, LOML and I have bought a few acres with a homestead, a cottage, a dam, and some sheds. There is also a chook-house that sits, calmly and hopefully, under the spreading branches of a couple of large eucalypts. This blog is the unfolding tale of our work on this property, and the chooks that we hope will eventually join us there. In pauses between renovation stories, I’ll post about what I’m currently reading, and sometimes about my knitting projects.
